These are the 12 cruel torturers in Nicolás Maduro's prisons

Tamara Suju, Venezuelan human rights activist and Executive Director of the Casla Institute, published the names and images of the Chavista agents most feared by the regime's political prisoners

Physical and psychological torture, suffocation, rape. "I never imagined seeing so many human atrocities." On March 20, the young Venezuelan lieutenant Ronald Alirio Dugarte Silva took courage and denounced to the Organization of American States (OAS) , through a videoconference, the constant human rights violations committed by agents of the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence (DGCIM).

That summit, in which the crimes against humanity committed by the Nicolás Maduro dictatorship were exposed, was chaired by Luis Almagro , OAS secretary general, and Tamara Suju , a Venezuelan activist and Executive Director of the Casla Institute.

The content of the meeting had a strong impact in the international media. There, Dugarte Silva shared shocking images of the torture that takes place in the dictatorship's military jails, with the support of Cuban agents who are infiltrated by the Venezuelan Armed Forces.

This is how the military deserters are tortured !
The young lieutenant risked his life to show the world what happens to the military who intend to abandon the dictator. With his hidden cell phone he recorded some prisoners. Among them, Captain Caguaripano , who for stomach problems urinates blood. In the video, he can be heard claiming medical assistance, which is denied over and over again. Colonel Mejías Laya also appears in another clip. Dugarte Silva reported that he was held for 30 days "with his hands tied behind his back and his eyes blindfolded."

"The application of torture has been used to spread terror and punish dissent and opponents," denounced Almagro.

Suju, for his part, explained that the most atrocious torture was carried out against dissident soldiers. Some of them were hung, others thrown to the floor without food or water. Also, their homes were "brutally broken into" and some of their children "massacred by the FAES".
